What is My Big Why?

It’s started with a small pang in my chest. Left side. Ugh, why does that hurt all of a sudden? So I open my phone and start scrolling. Damn it. Heart health. For the most part of my life I had never considered myself to be so out of shape that I would have to worry about heart health. I have always exercised and I normally eat well. But that’s just it. Our constitutions are all different and what one persons body could handle another can not. So I am going to assume my constitution is a little weak. I had my blood checked out. A slightly high number for cholesterol. Damn. I calculated my body mass index. Damn again. Obese?! you’ve got to be kidding me. But there it is. The numbers punched in online in a simple BMI calculator form says for my weight and height I am overweight. BMI 28.9. Should be somewhere in 27. So close! Goal weight will be 125 lbs.

So there it is. I refuse to be someone who sits in the Overweight BMI category. I think my heart could use some help. I want to look cool in clothes that I like. That is my agenda here. In this blog I plan to share things I will be testing and trying out to shed these twenty pounds. I want to review products, recipes and strategies or diets to see what works and what doesn’t. Alright, let’s get going!
