Ozempic face
I have been thinking about this lately. Ozempic and Ozempic face. The idea of taking a medication to help you lose weight sounds good in theory. But I personally just don’t want to take medications that I don’t really need. I spoke to a doctor about it and she said she would only prescribe it if your BMI was over 27. Mine is like 29. So technically I could. But I won’t.
Anyway, some of the research I came across when I was considering it I was about how the rapid weight-loss would result in sagging skin. Saggy face and bum.
“Ozempic face” is a term for common side effects of the type 2 diabetes medication semaglutide (Ozempic). It can cause sagging and aging of facial skin. A doctor may recommend lifestyle modifications or facial fillers to treat skin and facial side effects.“

It really seems like a rabbit hole of things a person could do to look great. Taking medications vs going to the gym and watching my portion sizes both have their pros and cons. I choose to try the regular way because I still love foods and I just don’t want to mess with my stomach. It seems too important of an organ to suppress.
I think Ozempic is worth talking about because it’s the biggest topic in weight-loss management of our times. In certain instances, yes I do think it would be a good choice. I know for some, excessive weight is a barrier to getting more active. But it’s just not for me.
That being said, here is what I would do if I was losing weight rapidly with Ozempic: I would weight train to maintain muscle, massage and use guasha on my face and do face yoga, and I would try and take the smallest dose possible so that the weight loss is not crazy fast.
That is how I would do it if I was planning to go on it. See? I have given it thought. Also, it is the same amount of effort in my opinion as traditional weight loss. For me the weight loss journey is about me getting more healthy, active and having more energy. I want better health. The practice of doing those things daily are more important to me. Because I know I would just gain the weight back if I did use Ozempic.
Anyway, I thought this was worth a mention. Cause I’m sure most people just wonder why wouldn’t you go on it if you wanted to lose weight!? And of course for some it will be the right choice. I am not judging. Nor am I saying one way is better than another… I’m just electing to go the regular route because the amount I need to lose isn’t that much so I think I can do it without the medication.
